1. Types
Wall-mounted outdoor digital signage
It is easy to install and is fixed to the exterior wall of the building, the poles on both sides of the street or the awning of the bus station through a sturdy wall-mounted bracket. Its compact design fits the wall, effectively saving space, and because it is close to the building structure, it is relatively stable and not easily damaged by external force. For example, in the commercial streets of the city, shops can install it on the wall above the store entrance to display product promotion information, store special activities, etc., to attract the attention of passers-by.
Vertical outdoor digital signage
It stands on the ground with an independent columnar or cube structure, which has a strong visual impact. It is commonly seen in places such as the center of a crowded square, the open area outside the entrance of a shopping mall, and the main passage of a park. It can support double-sided or even multi-sided display screen settings, which means that information can be displayed to people in different directions at the same time, greatly improving the coverage and dissemination efficiency of information. For example, the vertical digital signage set up outside a large shopping mall can display the brand distribution and promotions on each floor of the mall on one side, and play the trailer of a recently released movie or the food recommendations of surrounding restaurants on the other side to meet the needs of different audiences.
Horizontal outdoor digital signage
Usually installed horizontally on the ground or a low platform, its display screen is parallel or nearly parallel to the ground. This design allows viewers to view information more conveniently at a position close to the ground, which is suitable for some specific scenarios, such as around children's play areas, used to display safety tips, opening hours and other information of children's play facilities; or in some pet parks, to provide pet owners with pet activity rules, pet health knowledge and other content. Its lower installation height also reduces the risk of equipment damage caused by factors such as wind and sun, while avoiding obstruction of the surrounding landscape to a certain extent.
Movable outdoor digital signage
It is installed on a bracket with wheels or a movable base, and has flexible mobility. It can be quickly and conveniently moved to a designated location according to different event needs, venue changes or temporary information display tasks. When holding large-scale events such as outdoor music festivals, sports events, and commercial exhibitions, movable outdoor digital signage can be flexibly deployed in various areas of the event site to display event schedules, stage performance information, sponsor advertisements, and on-site emergency notices. After the event, it can be easily stored or transferred to other required places, greatly improving the efficiency and flexibility of the equipment.
